Google for education

Google probably sees a major potential for its products in the educational industry. It is probably for this reason that it is now inviting ideas from people like you and me to discuss all the possible ways in which Google products like Blogger, picasa, Book Search etc can be used to provide an interface for learning. A pilot program on this is being conducted with the WestEd academy, and in fact, applications are being invited for those interested in being a Google certified teacher.
